wikis

Most of the information we obtain is based on the idea that someone is not actively trying to deceive us. Hopefully, active involvement in wiki-type pages were deter individuals from deceiving people through false ideas (through active management). I love that multiple people who are interested in something can all contribute to idea (to a wiki-page) rather than a set group which could get kinda stale (think book encyclopedias). Wikis could be a great tool for different library departments by allowing patrons to better understand how we categorize the information we have (with explanations!).
